Special Issue Information
Decision-making techniques are essential to managing practical problems because they affect an organization's performance according to all relevant aspects. Reducing environmental damage, protecting human health, and encouraging resource conservation all depend on effective waste management. Industrial, Biomedical, Municipal and agricultural waste pollute the air, water, and soil. Sustainable waste management is essential for our planet's peaceful future and reduces environmental impact. Techniques for managing waste are complicated due to many levels of decision-making. Decision-making in waste management is significant for a methodical strategy of managing garbage with an economical and ecological responsibility. Fuzzy decision-making presently deals with various types of uncertainty concerning management problems. Numerous factors, including the waste production rate, the location for disposal, the cost of treatment, human ambiguity, inconsistencies and their interactions, can be uncertain in waste management systems. Also, there is a lack of complete knowledge or predictability regarding waste volume, composition, and disposal needs. So, decision-making in an uncertain environment is more suitable for finding a sustainable waste management system.
